Improvements-

Production companies- The production companies that were used in the amazing spider man were Columbia Pictures, Marvel Entertainment and Laura Ziskin Productions. These production companies are very well known for producing films, of those are mainly high budget films.

The production companies for paranormal activity were, Paramount pictures, Solana Films, Blumhouse Productions. These production companies are not very well known, this s because they do small films of low budgets like paranormal activity.

Therefore more people are likely to watch spider man because it was produced by a well established and well known company.

5. There are many differences between the high and low budget film in terms of institution.

one is that the high budget film is set out to make a large profit. This is because of the money spent on the film its self is very large. By spending more money on a film, it can be made much more professional, better editing, quality and the special effects 

6. The similarities between the two films is in the fact they both use special effects. By doing this it adds to the effect of the film which also gives it more of a professional look to it. Another similarity is they both make thriller films, Columbia pictures do not make as many because they are a wider genre of films company.

7. Columbia pictures have also made; this is the end, grown ups, skyfall, the karate kid and many others. All these films are very popular as they have also been shown on TV which means the companies think they are very popular films.

Paramount pictures have also made; noah, anchorman, flight and others, these films are not very well known because the company doesn't promote their films like Columbia pictures do to become a more well known and established company.

8. The genre of films that Columbia pictures normally produce is a variety of genres. They do not have a set genre for the films they produce. this is the same with paramount pictures, therefore either of these companies can be used for the film we will be creating.

9. The audience that Columbia pictures aim at is a much wider range. The reason for this is because they have also produced many films that are for children, which then goes up to adults. However the audience for Paramount pictures is more of the teen age and upwards the reason for this is because many of their films are 15 years and up.

10. Overall i believe that Columbia pictures are a better production company than Paramount pictures. The reason for this is because they have a much wider film base which is aimed at more ages which means they are a more user friendly company. This also means they are a more established company that they can produce lots of different types of films of all kinds of genres. They also advertise their company more which means they are obviously successful in order to pay for advertising.

Analysis of poster

 The positioning of the characters is also very important in this cover. the reason for this is because the lady at the back is much smaller than the two others. This could be a form of masculinity and they are protecting her. The man in the middle is the most important, the reason for this is because the sun is shining other him, which means he is the oldest and most important out of the three. The man at the front looks the youngest and by being at the front may mean he looks up to the other characters.

 

By doing this it also gives the audience a clearer view of who is who in the film.

- Out of the three shots taken i believe that the first shot is most effective. The reason for this is because it clearly shows the genre due to the characters fighting. Fighting is seen in many action and adventure scenes, however our genre was drama, and by one of the characters facial expressions to be scared, and trying to help the other character, turns this picture into a much more dramatic piece.

- Our genre has to show a lot of facial expressions in order for the genre to fit with the pictures. And this is where i made sure that the pictures allow the viewer to see the facial expressions of the characters, so the feeling of the characters can then be transferred to the viewer.

Which will then lead to the dramatic feeling of the pictures.
