Research for lighting

Lighting

From looking at various horror films, i have come to a conclusion that they include a mixture of both light and dark scenes. The light scenes always come before the darker scenes, as they allow the audience to get an understanding of the setting so they can get a basic understanding of what to come the next. The dark scene is always when they inside either the building or a forest etc. This then creates the suspension for the audience as they lighting has suddenly changed from light to dark, which tells them something bad is going to happen.
